Hi, I'm Trudy!
I’ve been teaching for more than 35 years in both England and France. For the past 12 years I’ve been running my own private tutoring business "English Made Easy for French Children" online.
I believe children learn best when they are continually encouraged, feel listened to, supported and guided in a way that works for them. My lessons are individualised, fun, engaging and repetitive (because that’s the key to learning anything). The repetitive structure of my lessons enables all children to practise speaking easily. They happily try new learning, without even realising it!
I’m proud to say that my students have gone on to do incredible things: medical school, studying architecture(at an English- speaking university), studying languages, accountancy, while others are travelling the world and working abroad teaching wakeboarding in ENGLISH!! - They are living their dream lives. Learning to speak English confidently, opened up doors to opportunities that my students could have never imagined possible.

1. Individualised Learning
Learning online means no interruptions. It’s just the teacher guiding the child and working within the child’s exact level every second of the lesson. This enables each child to progress at an incredible speed.

Many children understand English at school but feel too shy to speak. They often worry about making mistakes or being laughed at, so they’ve decided that staying quiet even when they know the answer is best. J’ai eu la chance de prendre des cours d’anglais avec Trudy de la quatrième à la terminale. Tout d'abord, il faut savoir que Trudy s'adapte au niveau de chacun, par example dans mon cas nous avons commencé par de la lecture de texte et des questions de compréhension, cependant cela s'est avéré difficile pour moi.
Trudy l'a vite vu et s'est donc adaptée en me proposant des dialogues pour travailler le vocal et le prononciation. Au fur et à mesure des leçons, je me suis senti accompagné et surtout en confiance. Les cours particuliers de Trudy m'ont fait énormément progresser sur ma compréhension, ma prononciation et mon aisance à l'oral. À tel point que aujourd'hui je suis en deuxième études supérieures en Irlande dans un cursus entièrement en anglais. Enfin Trudy est une personne en or, elle est patiente et très drôle.
